100MM CAST IRON WHEEL 1/2″ AXLE DIAMETER (CI400-50)

Cast Iron wheels are a popular wheel solution because of their extremely low resistance to rolling and their highly durable characteristics. Cast Iron is resistant to most chemicals however cast iron is known to damage concrete floors over time.

The Ci400-50 from Richmond Wheel and Castor Co. is a 100mm diameter cast iron wheel with a top load capacity of 400kg and has a tyre width of 38mm.

The following Richmond castors use this wheel (not necessarily with the same axle diameter) S4236, S4236B, R4053, S4052, S4052B, R440, S470, S470D.

This wheel is designed to suit 1/2 inch (12.7mm) axles and this wheel is available for the following alternative axle size: 3/8 inch (9.52mm).
