About Zinc-Coated Unions

• These unions are electro-zinc plated and are available in Steel-Steel, Steel-Bronze, and Bronze-Bronze seats with Female-Female and Male-Female end connections.
• This process gives a complete coating both externally and internally which protects the pipe union at the thread and vital seating areas.
• They are particularly suitable where there is condensation, such as in air and gas lines.
• The zinc coating also gives an outside protective coating against rust when exposed to the atmosphere. (The Steel-Steel zinc-coated union is an ideal union suitable for most applications where vibration and moisture are present, such as compressed airlines and railway braking systems)
