The 3M™ Peltor™ X-Series HYX2 Hygiene Kit includes replaceable ear cushions and foam liners for X-Series X2 Earmuffs, models X2A and X2P3E (sold separately). Peltor X-Series X2 is a lightweight, low-profile earmuff designed for protection against low-to-moderate level industrial noise and other loud sounds with a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 24 dB. Class A. Using this replacement kit can extend the service life of hearing protection equipment and potentially result in cost savings. Exposure to loud noises can adversely affect the ability to hear over time. Wearing proper hearing protection devices can help in reducing the harmful effects of noise. Sound levels are expressed in decibels, often abbreviated as dB. Higher decibel numbers indicate louder sounds.
