Goliath solid High Speed Steel (HSS) Dienuts are used for cutting of new threads as well as extending/cleaning/resizing of existing threads where a button die is not suited due to work space restrictions and/or on site thread accessability.

HSS Dienuts have a vastly longer tool life than Carbon dies as well as producing more accurate threads.

METRIC FINE

These button dies and die nuts have a 60° angle of thread. The crest is flat and the thread has clearance at the root allowing external thread and internal thread to engage well. Larger root radius and lower thread height enable easy screw thread processing and increase thread screw strength. The major diameter of external thread and pitch are specified by a simple numerical value (most commonly measured in millimeters).
